Women & Trauma

TLL has several dedicated specialist interventions for women across London, Bedfordshire, Brighton and Hove.

Our women’s services encompass community engagement through floating support, outreach, and accommodation-based projects. These services assist women experiencing multiple and complex disadvantages, including:

• Domestic abuse, sexual violence and exploitation

• Forensic mental health and personality disorder

• Women in the Criminal Justice System or at higher risk of entering it

• Single women and mothers and their children experiencing homelessness

• Substance use disorders

• Lack of self-esteem/confidence

• Complex historic and enduring trauma

In addition to supporting women directly, we support local partners in understanding gender-based trauma and share our learning through best practices.
